Windermere's 2024 Production "After the Boys of Summer Have Gone" was based on a fun bluegrass cover of the Don Henley song, "Boys of Summer" and featured imagery from a Southern California beach based on the song's lyrics.

Custom Designed Costumes

Windermere's costumes were custom designed and featured four different styles of our mix and match guard costumes to create visual interest and variety. Scroll down to see the different styles.

Custom Dye Sublimated Flags

All three flags in the 2024 production featured vibrant composite images of a California Highway sign, a bright ocean wave, and a convertible traveling down the 101, all inspired by the song's lyrics.

Custom Printed Floor

A sandy beach with waves lapping along the sideline? No problem! This custom designed floor was angled to accommodate the large lifeguard stand prop in the back left corner and build the perfect performance space.

Behind the Scenes at WGI World Championships

Although Windermere experienced some staff changes throughout the year, they found great leaders and mentors in new directors, Bobby Glass and Robert Sherretz, who guided them through their world championships experience along with their band directors.
